Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)
IEMT explores and addresses undesired emotions and identities in individuals. When recalling memories, our eyes play a crucial role. If an undesired memory is not properly processed, it can be triggered and cause problems. Many people are unaware that past traumas stored as memories contribute to emotional reactions and self-limiting thoughts.
IEMT employs eye movement and questioning techniques to shift images representing undesired emotions. By envisioning a pixelated image symbolizing the emotion and using specific sequences of eye movements, the image weakens, subsequently reducing the emotional response.
